Welcome to the prayer course | Session 4 INTERCESSION

As we approach the half-way point in the Prayer Course, I hope the conversations have been deepening as you and the members of your group continue to grow a life of prayer.

As we get ready for Session 4, here are Pete’s main points from Session 3.

  • God, our Heavenly Father, loves to give good gifts.

  • There are traffic lights in our life of prayer: Yes, Wait, No.

  • Sometimes we need to “stack dominoes” and persevere in prayer.

In Session 4, which launches on January 29, 2023. we’ll focus on an amazing truth. God, in His wisdom, gives us agency. He gives you and me the incredible privilege of praying for real change and transformation in the lives of others.

Pete greig’s BOOK “HOW TO PRAY”

For those who are also reading Pete Greig’s book How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People, please read chapter 6 (Intercession) before Session 4’s discussion. Reading the book is not required to get a lot out of this course. Check with your small group leaders to determine what your group will be doing.
