WHAT’S HAPPENING AT FIRST PREZ — upcoming gatherings

TOGETHER BOOKLET

We have put together the TOGETHER booklet to help you (on your own or with others) go deeper in the study of the sermon series. It includes sermon discussion questions and spiritual steps of the week. The TOGETHER booklet is available at the Sanctuary welcome table and The Vine (downtown campus), or simply download it here.

RELATIONAL KEYS TO EFFECTIVE MINISTRY

How many questions did Jesus ask? How well did He listen and observe? And how did His listening and question-asking guide Him in His teaching? We'll explore leading by listening, observing and asking powerful questions, and then see all of the spiritual fruit which results. May 8, 15, & 22, Wed, 7PM, The Vine Speaker: Pastor Tim Fearer. Sign up here.

FOR THE GUYS

Guys of all ages (middle and high school students included) are invited to a fun evening of brotherhood, delicious spaghetti, and indoor games (foosball, ping pong, etc) for those who want to play. And it's all free! But please RSVP for the food count. May 16, Thurs, 6PM, Honey's at FPC. Come, talk-story, and meet new friends.

Difference Course

DIFFERENCE is a 5-session course that explores what it means to follow Jesus in the face of conflict and see transformation through everyday encounters. Sundays (till May 26), 9:30AM, Mauka Room. We believe that God is in the business of restoring brokenness and changing relationships, and that we are called to take part. Course cost: $10 for the workbook. Facilitators: Tim Shaw and Chris Pan. Sign up for DIFFERENCE.

After the film, we'll discuss Christian themes we find in the movie, and then wrap it up with lunch of Subway sandwiches. RSVP here.

If you're hurting because of a divorce, come and find support and encouragement at DivorceCare. It's a 13-week support group meant to help you heal and restore balance to your life. Mondays (till July 28), 6PM-8PM, at The Vine.  Sign up for DivorceCare

PILINA DAY

Our Pilina Restoration Day is a tangible way of caring for our Ko'olau 'aina while enjoying time with your family, friends, and others you'll be volunteering with. We make an immediate positive impact on the environment when we pick up litter, organic debris, and even lost golf balls. May 25, Sat, 9AM, FPC campus. Sign up for Pilina Day.

SILENT DISCO

Join us for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship as we dance to different dance beats all at the same time! If you have never been to a SILENT disco party, this may be a fun thing to try. We also will have a very delectable spread of amazing food prepared by our very own Vine cooking team! May 25, Sat, 6PM, at The Vine. Admission: $20, and includes heavy pupus. RSVP here.
